So I randomly lost my bass in my car the other day. Started it up, started up some music and the music is extremely shallow and stupid...

I have a Pioneer DEH-X4700 BT
Rockford Fosgate speakers
No sub
No amp

Just randomly lost MOST bass, cannot do anything to increase it really with any settings that I adjust in the head unit. I'm confused.

I think I figured it out. Reset the head unit and adjusted the hpf settings a bit with the bass boost and what not. Not sure what happened but it seems better now! The sound quality is better than before when playing with the hpf settings! I never really knew what it did.

on my unit, there is separate part for Loud : ON and Loud : Off
this increases the bass on and off, and its a massive difference, probably be something like that?
