I know this is section for car but there was no section for home usage and i need a new system that i need to use for home system.
Mainly it is for music im not plannign to use home theater things, and i have nothing at the moment and budget will be around $2000 !
Classic, pop are musics that are mostly going to be used . Once again im very new to audio system, and im doing this purchase for my parents for their upcoming birthday & christmas gift so if i can get details about what are the systems i need such as speakers, amps.. w.e. others i will really appreciate it. Thanks !
Also it will be mostly used for either iphone connect, or usb or pc connect rather than cd usage.

Amplifier - Why? - it supports USB, AUX, iPod/iPhone/PC inputs to play music. It has 1015W of power and supports up to 7 surround speakers and 2 subwoofers. I know this is mainly used for hometheater setups, but it will work amazingly well for playing music also.

I did this for my interest in sound, and I am in no way a professional in this field so don't yell at me if this isn't what you're looking for.
