I got a 2x 12" Box

Was looking at Kicker C122 they're pretty cheap as well

Need to be semi small or shallow because box is kind of tiny

would have to know box specs before picking a sub. can't just throw any ol sub in any ol box.

ive owned kickers and really they are garbage over priced subs.

solo l7 are garbage as well the corners break because of 90 degree style and they just get too loud that they distort.
ive had plenty of kicker subs that the leads break from sub to terminal.

only thing id buy from kicker is the amps.

whats the best subs to purchase then?

those are brands not subs....obviously there is no single brand that is the best at everything.

pioneer and rockford have good entry level shallow mounts for example.

nothing mainstream like you just mentioned but there is no answer to that question. "best" is simply too vague when talking about audio equipment. best for $200 for example would help narrow it down but as it stands i can link a $1500 sub or a $150 sub...just too vague.
