This is the first time I'm attempting to install an aftermarket stereo in my car.
I bought a Pioneer FH-X700BT for my 04 Cavalier.
I got the correct wiring harness for the vehicle and when I connected it and turned the car on, no power in the stereo.
Any ideas of what I might be doing wrong?

check the fuses on the headunit

have to run a new switch 12 volt power wire i think in these year models.

to do this you just need to find a circuit that goes on and off with the car and then fuse tape a wire to the radio.

I had a 02 cavalier and you had to run a ground somewhere else.

sometimes you NEED to use a consant power. thats how it is with my charger. regular power didnt work so i had to use a constant power option. but youll need to maually turn off radio everytime which is no biggie
