I have two 12" kicker comp vr's in my trunk.. My head unit is not aftermarket because it was BOSE and I decided it was good enough already to not replace. It has adjustable bass from -7 to +7, typically I have always had it at -7 because songs at max volume even at -7 had more than enough bass to shake the whole car. Recently, as of yesterday for some reason, all my songs have less bass? I have to set the bass boost to 0 instead of -7 to get the same feeling that -7 was giving me. Now +7 sounds nothing like it sounded a couple days ago.
I checked the trunk and both subs seem to be working okay, neither of them is dead or making any weird noises they just dont seem to have nearly the power they had just a couple days ago...

Could it have anything to do with my a speaker because my left door speaker stopped working and I'm not sure when, just noticed it yesterday as well. If i set my headunit to only play out the left speaker all i get is a faint beeping noise.

check the amp. ive had set ups that have actually made everythng shake violently that the knobs on the amp itself started to turn reducing or making the system very ugly sounding. also that head unit is not at all only changing the bass to your subs. when u change the bass on your radio it is changing the bass for your door speakers as well as your subs. youll need a actual aftermarket radio with seperate sub lvl adjustment to properly tune the bass to your subs.

do you have a seperate battery or a capacitor? added to your setup? if yes theck the fuses to them, also i would recheck your grounds and and the actual sub itself how it is wired. things can come loose.

im assuming you used a stock converter to get rca outs to go to the amp since you are using a stock deck. Check the speaker inputs on the converter itself and see if one of the channels came loose.

you could use a ddm to test the coils too to see if you fried a sub.

or a fuse on your amp popped and is only running off 1 channel atm
