unless you are willing to do the install yourself you may as well get it if you don't want the basic sound system.

$850 worth of aftermarket is a lot of options, but if you are going to have to pay someone else to install it then it's probably not worth going aftermarket with that budget.

Depends on how much you care about how your music sounds..
I feel like most people don't care as long as it makes noise.
For some people the "premium" sound is a big upgrade and it will make those people happy for as long as they own the car.
The few who are like me won't settle for [I[any[/I] factory stereo system. I want my music to sound loud and clean so I spent a bunch of money on aftermarket equipment and it makes me smile.

ofc its noticeable and it helps with the cars resale value as well.

it's more than just different speakers if thats what you think.
