Ok I'm not a car audio scrub but my 4 chan 500 watt kicker amp keeps shutting off after about half an hour of use... I haven't abused it and it's tuned on the conservative side. I'm about to just throw it out and buy new speakers and amp all around... Any ideas to fix it though and if not gimme some good 4chan amps and speakers too lazy to look on sonix

is it located in a spot where it doesn't have any sort of ventilation?

nothing is around the amp its sitting level in my trunk and its yes grounded and big 3

is the ground good? paint sanded off, tight connection?

whats the gain set to? you have "bass boost" on?
