my phone's speaker was too weak for me to hear my audio books when i turned on the kitchen faucet. so i went to best buy looking for speakers to put in my kitchen. dude told me i could spend 300$ on speakers that i MIGHT hear over the dishwasher or i could spend 70$ on a guitar amp and my neighbors can hear my books over their dishwasher. he recommended this one which i bought:
http://www.amazon.com/Marshall-MG10CF-Series-10-Watt-Guitar/dp/B005ODB1YMit works great, and i'm thinking about getting one for the bathroom so i can hear it in the shower. i listen to very little music, and i know nothing about amps/speakers. i see this one is listed as 10 watts. would a 10 watt speaker be just as loud? i'm not clear on the "amplification" details, and i dont see any numbers on it to enlighten me.
