I posted a while back about getting a sound system a while back, however i've done some mechanical stuff prior like water pump and steering pump that has put the audio on the back burner.
However I'm able to throw down now for some audio.
I would like to achieve all of this for 400 bucks, maybe 500 if thats what makes the difference. and I'd like to buy all the parts at once. not the head unit 1 week and speakers the next.
I want to get
new receiver
new front speakers 5 1/4
amp
2x subs dont care what size 8" or 10" i guess would be good (these must be shallow they will be behind my seats in a single cab truck)
and of course the subs box for behind my seat.
i've been shopping online on 2 different sites crutchfield and sonic eletronix.
my current radio is stock which is 1.5 din also all the speakers but 1 are broken in my truck atm theres 2x 6x9s in front and 2x 5 1/4 behind the seats i plan on not using the behind the seat speakers.

This is another selection I'm thinking of..
The front to ill put on a high filter
and the 2 speakers behind my seats ill put on low filter
and ill not use the 10" sub and use my rears for the bass. since space is tight..
and if it isn't enough maybe ill add that sub later.. anyway heres the new gear, equals about 415 bucks.
