Mids / Highs
Eclipse - very clean sound

Subs
2x MA Audio 1200XL - good bass and nice quality sound
Cadence has some nice stuff, no experience with it personally
Diamond Audio is good
Memphis is good

AMP (Depends on what you want....Do you want to wake the neighborhood? or prefer sound quality? this is one area to focus on for an audio build, your AMP is the 2nd most important item for your build.
Memphis - Great power and good quality amp, not great for sound quality though
Fosgate - Decent sound quality and good power
Eclipse - Very clean sound, I use eclipse for mids / highs, not subs

You have several choices, it's all in what you want out of your system. I don't recommend going with all 1 name brand unless this is a show car of some sort.

Head unit (if you are changing it from factory)
Eclipse - no better sound quality imo and good pre-amp output
JVC - decent quality if you're on a budget
Kenwood - good radio

Would be tight on that budget, don't forget the cost of installation, if this is a self install, there is still the cost of power / ground wire, distribution block and crossover.
