So im not satisfied with the stock setup with the 2014 mustang, found a nice sub box that fits the trunk of my car for 120$ for 2 subs, or I could get one that fits 1 sub for 80$, first idk how big the difference would be. They both would 12" subs, and second, idk what brand to get, I want something bot too expensive but still sounds nice, but if I were to get new subs, would I have too upgrade the tweeters. I just don't know, also how much does an amp help and what to pick :/

you have to amp any sub(s) you install.

those prices are high if they are basic prebuilts. $80 online price for a dual 12 ported box.

you can go with a single sub and see how well the other speakers do with it for now.

how much you looking to spend?

Roughly 300$ and yeah I thought it was kinda high, only caught my interest because it was made to fit in my trunk easily, what do you prefer for brands, etc, I literally know nothing about car audio lol

the amp is "meh" but given the budget you are kind of stuck with a lower end amp. it will work but don't expect it to last forever.

How much is labor on these kinds of things? Because I dont trust myself enough to do that.. obviously, and whats a good price range to be looking at? Because I rather have something that lasts, like a cheaper good quality, not high end stuff but stuff that will last

And thank you by the way

google and youtube is a free education on almost anything. chdck out some videos of complete car audio installs and follow what they do. if they tell you it is important to do something the way they are doing it, do it then. like sanding down the paint to bare metal for ground wire. etc
