so my friend has fallen on hard times and i decided since i am able to, i would help him out.

found a good running car for 2 grand but the sound sucks, i wana spend less than 500$ and get a decent deck/speakers for it

2000 mazda 626

i been just looking around on amazon, and from what i read while these speakers are cheap people are happy with them

leme know what i should be looking for/what i need

i can build a car from the ground up, but never got into the sound part of it

getting some conflicting information on the speaker sizes. sonic+metra=both sets 6x8 while crutchfield says 6x9 rears.

find out for sure on the rear size. if its 6x8 as well just grab 2 sets of the above.

aside from the speaker change everything else is fine. if you don't mind spending a bit more you can get the newest model pioneer speakers for like $10 more a set.

well metra makes adapter fittings and stuff like that so i trust them more than crutchfield. so annoying when their is conflicting info lol.

if you don't wanna deal with the door panels but once you can just do this.

adapts the 6.5s to either size hole so it becomes a non issue.
