Topic, whoever gets me this solution;

I have an 96' oldsmobile for a car I just recently got from my grandpa, I bought a scosche cassette adapter so I could plug in my own music,
the adapter keeps on ejecting and ive tried almost everything to try to keep it in, ive watched videos on youtube, ehow guides etc.
Nothing has worked, I have the original radio that came with the car
If you can tell me a solution and it works, youll get 400fg

iirc to get the cassette to 3.5mm cable thing to work on a hi-fi home stereo the pause and play buttons had to be pressed at the same time. If you set it to only play it's going to play through the tape in a few seconds and then stop. If you set it to stop, well it won't be playing the tape then either.

You need play on so the sound works and stop on so it doesn't play to the end of the tape and eject it.

You could try an fm transmitter
It uses an unused radio frequency or something and plays your music that way

was gonna post this

but my old tape thing would eject if you didnt have music playing, so if a song ended and another didnt start right away it would eject, but as long as the music played it stayed in

if you look at the side of the adapter where the tape would be you will see 3 large and 2 small square holes.Cover the 2 small holes with a piece of tape(adhesive tape) and it will be OK!
Good luck!

I have the same problem sometimes, I would try a new adapter, different brand. Otherwise it could be the radio unit. I usually just keep pushing it in and playing music until it works because I am cheap and lazy
