so i bought a 2013 WRX STI witht he sport tech package about a year ago. love the car, no problems. about 6 month i parked it for the winter in a unheated garage and the battery died (totally my fault)

and the issue im having is the pioneer navigation system is asking for a password to get into it. and i have absolutely no idea what it could be. ive tried allmost all default combinations (ex, 0000 1111 1234 9999...)

anybody have any idea on how to get into it?

dealership is most likely the people you need to talk to.

i haven't messed with their navi units before so i don't know if its a factory password or a personal password thing.

The password is always inside of your owners manual, there should be a card loose inside of the actual manual or printed under the radio section inside of the manual. If you lost the card or the manual, and if the radio is the original one that came with the car go to pioneer website and register, in there they have an option where you can retrieve your password via email or call 1-800-421-1404.
