I know nothing about them. Just want my music to sound richer than it would with the stock setup.

2005 Chevy Blazer. Would it be worth putting a little bit into it down the road? (gotta do mechanical fixes before I even consider accessories)

really depends on what your budget.

even just a new head unit and aftermarket door speakers will be significantly better for example.

It would probably be between 200-300. But it would be a while down the road. I know nothing about different brands, setups, etc. I honestly don't even know the basics so I won't pretend to. lol

well this is a basic breakdown of how that would work with that budget.

$120-ish for head unit
probably $50 in installation gear for head unit
$60-70 per set of speakers

Sounds about right. Radio install is simple but if you've never taken apart a door pannel then that can be kind of challenging.
