can anyone suggest my best option of speakers for $150.

There isn't really a 'best' option with a set budget, going to depend on what you like it to sound like.
Chances are, no matter which ones you buy, they're going to sound like a decent pair of $75 speakers.

Get some Alpine Type S's for that budget.
Or Rockford Punch's if you like sharp highs.

or you can order a nice crescendo component set and a couple 6.5 crescendo pwx mids for around that price.. more around 200 though but with the extra 50$ spent you would be way more happy/impressed.
