What are some proper setting and a general range i should be in. I aint afraid to crank acdc all the way to some of my girlfriends techno and bass stuff. So i listen to pretty Much everything

Car is a 05 cobalt if that matters

Pionner nvh-2300 dvd deck
2 12" mtx jackhammers
1000w kac-8101d kenwood amp
All proper and professional wiring and such
A kickass battery thats dam good at preventing surge. Virtually none
Bad part- stock speakers as of now... Upgrading soon

But my question is for hz, frequency hz. That kind of stuff.
Also equalizer setting if thats even do-able via internet. Right now i use a stock setting for bascially all my music - powerful. Sounds best overall

Frequency should be right around 80-120 depending on your music type. Lower for rap and higher for rock. Or right in the middle would be a happy median.
EQ, to me, sound best like a smiley face. Bass up a couple notches, mids down and treble up a couple notches.
With stock speakers you may way to keep the bass at 0 or +1

High pass filter = for speakers/tweeters
Low pass = subs

IMO, get 2 component speaker sets with a nice amp and you should be fine.

Only other thing I see as somewhat of an issue is the Kenwood amp. Kenwood's a great company, but their amps are heh.
