So today my friend gave me some subs and an amp. Then I was like hrmmm...imma install them myself.

So I have the battery wired up to the amp, and thats all fine. I have the cords plugged into the back of my deck. Then I have a blue cord attached to a blue cord. But it still won't work. It is grounded, the amp and the amp injector thinger. Anything else I should mention?

Yeah all the lights are on.

The subs have a slight sound. but not very much

Are there nobs or settings on the amp that you haven't adjusted yet?

lol what? there are no knobs or anything on the amp?
every amp should come with settin adjustments knobs.


power cabl;e from battery to amp ,
ground cable from amp to ground in trunk somewhere. both ground and positive should be 4 gauge dependng on amp size

rca cables from back of your cd player to input on the amp r&l
blue cable is usually the remote wire.. that runs from the remote wire from your head unit to the remote terminal on the amp. if you have all these wires hooked up like that i just said everything should work.


there should be gain and pwer setting on the amp dont put the power setting past 50%
and adjust the gain

what kind of amp and subs are we talking about? re you sure you have the subs in a box? lol

Any switches? HPF/LPF?
