So, my sister has a mitsubishi Lancer 10th anniversary edition, but the whole sound setup was really lame.
So, she changed the speakers to a total of about 500w only to find out the source (radio) is really fucking cheapass. We could solve the volume thing with am amp or preamp, but it won't solve the problem of the Super cheap sound quality.
We tried going to the dealership, they claim that only this specific model will work with the wheel bluetooth buttons, and that it's literally a part of the dash so it can't be removed even by them.
I find that... Hard to believe at the very least. Who the fuck would make a 25000+$ car with a super cheap sound system that can't be upgraded no matter what? I'm sure someone, somewhere knows a way to upgrade it, even if it means rewiring and having the new radio in the glove box r
