My sub is a Pioneer TSW3002D2 and my amplifier is a Alpine Pdx 1.1000.

Now i was just playing music and all of a sudden the bass cut out. So i pulled over checked the fuses all fine, this is including the fuses on the amp and the 4awg cable right at the battery all the fuses are not blown. I looked at the amp the blue light on the top was still illuminated. when i got home i wriggled the cables around took them out re cut and re attached the cables still nothing... None of the cables i have checked have shifted in anyway. So i took the whole sub/amp out unscrewed the sub unhooked the cables ran speaker wire from the sub to a 1.5v battery the sub is working fine.

I'm really stumped to why it just cut out like that anyone have any ideas?

Looked over my cables again had a very minor split in the speaker cable going from the amp to the sub. Replaced it now it works

i hate when something so small and stupid like that happens. I had that happen to one of my speakers in the rear. i have an amp running all my speakers and as im sure you know you have those RCA cables that you have to use and i accidently tripped on the wire while i was hooking other shit up. and i didnt think i broke the wire but after i hooked everything up and put everything back together, the back speakers were not working. took me forever to figure out that it was that stupid wire. ugh im pissed just thinking about it lol
