So ive gone a totally different direction with the car, sold the 24s, and took out the music, at the moment its still full interior (not for long)

but at the moment heres what ive done to it

Brand new 2" drop spindles (not even installed yet)
Brand new holley blue fuel pump / regulator and pressure guage on the carb feed (not even installed yet)
new summit racing proportioning valve (Switched from the 10bolt 7.5" chevy drum rear to a ford 9" with a 3.89 gear and disks
Cheetah ratchet shifter
700r4 with shift kit, corvette servos, upgraded clutch pack, hardened sun shell
355ci small block chevy with 11:1 compression, forged internals 462 casting heads, makes 420ish to the tires

my goal for the car is to run 7.50s but the parts ive already accumulated indicate a 6.50 1/8 mile car in the future!!

Soon to come

13:1 sbc (385ci .40 over 350 with a 400 crank) that will make about 650 700 on motor
400 progressive wet shot of go fast juice (150 and 250)
th400 transmission
another holley blue (will need 2x to maintain the motor)
fiberglass front end

on a side note i have a kicker 1500 amp and two 12" l7s for sale

So today we had a customer (i work @ a machine shop) decided that his perfectly good 12.5:1 pistons weren't good enough for the rebuild on his new big block so i may be building the following!

454 block .60 over (468 ci assuming i use a stock rod and stroke) I have a pair of heads and a cam that would easily make 800+ hp

stock 010 454 block ;), not going over 800 hp so there should be no problem since ill be using a new forged rotating assembly

I am not sure about the 454 but a gen 1 SBC at 800hp is as good as gone... they like to explode at over 500...

 I work at a machine shop, my smallblock makes 400 to the wheels and is a daily driver, 600+ hp on a smallblock you just fill the block and go really fast.

Oldschool way build stock block monsters.

There are better blocks then others, idr what this block is but its one of the better ones according to my boss.

Hes been published in multiple magazines for multiple builds for example : http://www.mustang50magazine.com/techarticles/sucp_0511_2005_mustang_gt_build/

My boss is Herb Yancer hes mentioned quite often, he built the motor it was a stock block 4.6l all aluminum explorer block that made 1,100 hp to the crank, 900 to the tires, hp was understated in the article because the bracket raced the car.
