I've bought a tablet and a netbook both on separate occasions without even thinking about what I was doing, I just wanted to spend money. Well they were purchased to be used as easy access devices for music in my car.
I own an ipod, I own a smartphone, I just hate having to play with them to find a song I want, so lately, I just use a flash drive and plug in through usb, sound quality is great, but navigating to find a specific song is a pain in the ass.
So here's my issue, the sound quality over auxiliary is not as good as I'd like, usb sounds crystal clear.
How can I make this work?
I plan on buying a dash mount dock/kit for my tablet and just use it for music, it has voice controls, can double as a massive gps, and whatever else.
Here comes the part that's the reason for my title of the thread...
Does such a thing exist as an aux to usb? (don't laugh at me)
This just seems like it would solve all of my problems.

Thanks in advance fellas.

What can a new headunit offer me that mine doesn't?
What would be the feature that I would gain from a different model?

I have the Kenwood KIV-701 and I have the eXcelon x693 before that and they both operated the USB feature magnificently!
I have all my music organized like this..

> Genre
> Artist
> Album
> Song

It couldn't get any easier to navigate the way I have it, but both of the head units I have owned both display 3-5 lines of text at once which makes it easier than some head units which only display one.

No chords like that.

Usually bad sound quality is the device. Not so much the chord. Go with gild connectors and a brand like monster. My aux sounds great using my pioneer avh-x3500bhs and my galaxy note 2
