I have two 12" jbls enclosed in a ported box. My amp just recently blew out and I'm in need of a new one. Looking for the perfect amp to push these subs. I know nothing about resistance and wattage lol but that's what I'm hoping you guys could help with. Price is not really a concern. Just looking for the perfect amp to push these flawlessly. Any help jsp?

These are the subs I have - http://www.jbl.com/estore/jbl/us/products/GT5-12/GT5-12_JBL_US?skuId=GT5-12_JBL_US&searchMode=regularProductOnly

How would I wire this down to 2 ohms? Bridge the speakers to the amp?

and since it has 4 wire spots you can just wire 1 sub up per set of terminals to get 2ohm.

Don't get A/B for subwoofers they heat up quicker and distort like crazy ontop of the fact that MB Quart is subpar in the first place...
Get something like this: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_45519_Alpine-MRX-M55.html
