you can very much order them online. the import fees are often cheaper than paying canadian price tag.
if those are the subs you are using in a $1500 setup you are doing it wrong. those things are $100-120 on the US market.
for $230 a sub you can get sundown SA series subs which are far far superior.
call and ask import fees before jumping out and paying brick and mortar canadian prices.
Even if they are 100-120 us market thats about 135 Canadian. When you add shipping costs, it's going to be almost 50$ in shipping, maybe more. Then I wouldn't get the bundle pack of them installing it for me. Which means I have to pay full for installation.
I'm getting a 300$ discount for my system. Not to mention that I have to pay them extra for them to bolt it down to the car or else insurance won't cover it. I have been looking at systems for over 4 months now, believe me when I say this is the lowest I can get my system for.
I'm only getting 1 amp dedicated to the sub. Its 1000, so 500 For each sub. The deck is 250 because it's going to power the front speakers and give good and clear vocals, all the bass is coming from the subs. I also have to order the subs custom so they can fit in the car in a certain spot so that it can be bolted down.
Yes I can get the whole system cheaper but because I don't know how to install them properly, I need someone else to do it. That's were the major cost difference is happening. I might be able to get my entire system online for maybe 1,500 for the 15'' subs. But after making the custom box and having it installed. I don't think it's going to be much more.
