Get a bigger alternator instead of getting a cap.

caps from my experience doesnt seem to help much.. I ran a 10 farad with a aq1200 and 2 fosgate t1s and couldnt tell that it did anything other than tell me when my volts dropped too low.. lighta on the car still dimmed

you only really need a capacitor if you plan on running a serious system. it only helps...it wont make or break what you have going on

No you dont, instead of spending money on a cap you can just spend it to upgrade your cars electical, start with the big 3 then you can replace alt get extra batts etc the bigger your system gets

i think theyre worth it, at least on older cars on my last car when my subs would hit hard my lights would dim n shit
