Alright so I want to upgrade from my stock speakers because they are just awefull. The max volume is not even loud and the base completely masks everything on a bass y song. I have a 2007 Chevy aveo, 6 speaker 4 Dr sedan. Looking for good quality for not too much obviously, just so my ride into work every morning isn't boring , th cheaper the better. Also will I need a head unit If I upgrade speakers? Won't be having a sub just the 6 speakers and I've no idea what will sound good. I listen to more electronic music than anything. Could I
get a set up for $250?

you will need a new head unit or a 4 channel amp.

if you have a sat nav head unit you can keep it and run a 4 channel amplifier

if you have a crappy regular head unit you can replace it with a new one with more power, features, quality etc.

you will be unhooking the tweeters completely....no reason to replace 2 tweeters when you are about to put 4 new ones in anyways.

let me know what the plan is for the head unit...if its crap then replace it because it simplifies things.

So I need a new head unit, and 6 speakers, is there specific speakers for front middle back? And I have a 10" type s sub I got for free, don't want to set it up now but how much would it cost to Set it up in the future?

Could you link a cheaper head unit, front speakers mid speakers and rear speakers with proper sizes that I can just buy :3 my buddy knows how to put this stuff in apparently, I just have to supply Booz/ meal xD the pinch series looks cool, though idk which ones go where

Edit: the sonic site has all the punch series ones that fit the doors, but they don't have it in stock for the back on top, does it matter if it's another brand? And if so what would go good? Also have no idea on a head unit..

Maybe the rear speakers could be a bit more bassy than the others? idk..

Just gives me the front and rear door speakers, what about the ones on the top ? Do I get coaxial for those too?0

i wouldn't run more than 4 speakers on 1 headunit so skip the back doors and just go for frontdoor + rear shelf

unitl you get yourself a 4 channel amp could probs go to nearest scrapyard

i tried hooking 6 speakers to 4 channels and its a no go if you wanna play it loud
