why on earth would you turbo a ford focus? its not even an SVT model.

with a turbo all you'll have is a highly unreliable 150hp car 15-16 second 1/4 mile car.

thats about the same as the SVT model except the SVT model was designed with performance in mind...not just had a turbo thrown on it.

well actually im as fast as an svt right now.. they are not that fast.

my car runs a 15.9 with 125 WHP

with a turbo kit i will push about 220 WHP and run low 14's to high 13's

what makes you think it would be unreliable? if done right it will be just as reliable as a factory car.

it is also better to turbo a base model because it is the same motor just with lower compression and if you know about this stuff high compression plus turbo dont work well together.

the svt had 30 more hp stock than the base model, stronger engine internals, higher rpms, better transmission etc. it also ran 15 secs flat compared to your almost 16.

your car also doesn't have 125 to the to wheels unless you've did work on it already. your car was either 110hp or 130hp to the flywheel from the factory...maybe 100 to wheels on the 130 on a good day.

the only way it's going to be unreliable is at low boost or you rebuild the entire engine with better internals.

you will not get 220whp out of that engine reliably....you are basically claiming a small turbo is going to double the horsepower which is just not going to happen.

http://forums.d2jsp.org/forum.php?f=140 car forum for jsp.

lower compression is better but when you are using a car with such low low stock horsepower numbers you aren't going to see shit in gains to begin with. you'll basically be thousands of dollars in the whole for the horsepower increase the SVT model already has.

yes the SVT did have 30 more hp, forged internals, and a somewhat better tranny.

i would also like to see the time slip of a stock svt that ran 15 flat... my almost 16 is a real life number

i have done stuff to my car that gave me the 125 to the wheels.

it has been proved numerous times that my motor can withstand up to ~240whp without messing with internals and it is reliable. there is a guy that has over 40k miles on his @ 215ish whp still going strong.

i dont wanna go to the car forum i enjoy bickering with you lol.

Wrong.
