I have a 2003 Toyota Corolla, I recently re-did the entire system.

4x Pioneer Door speakers, a Pioneer headunit, and 2x Pioneer 12's.

I don't know the model numbers off the top of my head, but it's kinda irrelevant I think.

I have a 1000W Amp, the brand is like Total Car Audio or something random, but it used to push my buddy's JL 12w7 so I knew it would be able to handle mine.

It's super fucking loud, I messed with the head-unit a little bit because the bass was louder than the voices.. so now the voice is louder than the bass, I need to keep messing with it.

Anyway, what are tweeters good for? My boy was going to install 2x Pioneers Tweeters, they are the model that has Pioneer written on the bottom, he was going to charge me 100$ for them and installation.

Is that worth it? Do they really improve the quality of the sound\system?

you already have at least 4 tweeters in your door speakers.

turning down the sub to accommodate low powered mids/highs doesn't solve anything. you need to get some speakers worth amping if you want balance.
