So on thursday Ill be picking up my ford ranger (older car, not sure on year..I just love tiny trucks)

My first priority is gettign a nice system in it cause I need my musics..but I don't know shit about audio systems..let alone how to add windshield wiper fluid to my car...
Rag on me if you want...I don't mind :P I'm happily a computer nerd, not a car dude!

So I figured JSP always has answers XD So Ill answer the questions in the sticky and if someone could point me in a nice direction, it would be sweet!

When making a thread asking people to price out a stereo system for you, please answer these following questions in your first post.

1: What is the Year, Make, and Model of the vehicle. Ford Ranger - not sure on year
2: What is your budget? under 600
3: What exactly do you want your outcome to be? (Good sounding music, or loud bass?) both? ofc i gotta have that bass tho
4: And specific sub sizes that you prefer more than others? nope
5: How much trunk space do you want to use up? There is no trunk XD
6: What type of features are you looking for in a CD Player (aka Head Unit)? (Ex: USB, AUX, BlueTooth, etc) Prefer Bluetooth for my phone, if not usb/aux would be fine.
7: What type of music do you listen to? everything, rap/rock mostly..eminem disturbed all the good stuff
8: Is your stock stereo system amplified? (You may or may not know this) no idea
9: Do you have Steering Wheel Controls? (Volume/Seek on the steering wheel) no.

Anything that can help, ask away!

without knowing the year model or at least which generation of ford ranger it is i can't suggest speakers.

without knowing how much room you have for sub(s) i also cannot suggest any. is it single cab or extended? bench seat or buckets?

once you get the truck you'll have to do some measurements on the interior space to see what size the subwoofer box can be and therefore the subwoofer itself can be.

you can probably go ahead and order that stuff.

something like this is probably going to be the best space you have for it. once you can get measurements i'll start looking into a subwoofer.
