Just got a diablo sport I1000 chip for my 2008 dodge ram 1500 auto 5 speed 5.7 hemi and since I tuned the truck I can't do a brake stand or spin tires after dead stop.
It's given me more acceleration but I feel like I have some sort of traction control safety which I can't turn off with my traction control button on dash... anyone familiar with this chip??

You would be happier with your vehicle and i would would be happier if you just just gave me the money. That's how much you wasted. You drive a manual. All its doing is harming your truck engine and computer. Would of been different if it was automatic. You're running your truck in cold mode all the time. Tisk tisk tisk

auto 5 speed = automatic 5 speed tranny, not manual. And where do you get the impression that I run it cold? anyways it's fixed, no thanks to idiots like you

by chance how much was that chip. is that the chip for like $100 or less that says gains like 60 hp and stuff? if so i believe you got got, those chips are worthless and offer almost nothing. if you really want to tune your truck put a aftermarket true dual exhaust cat back system from flowmaster, and diablo sport tune to 89+ octane you can change your shift points and timing on alot of stuff. the control module costs about $350 or somewhre around that. i have a 07 charger hemi put a cat back flowmaster system on it $900, diablo sport tuned to 93 octane cold air intake new headers, currently saving some more $$ for engie upgrades. soon ill have almost the same hp as a stock srt8.

Still running your engine in cold mode. You can't do a single damn thing about it with the tuner. Still wasted money lol

manual is only bad if you cant drive it otherwise its just pros about it
