Current setup:
Headunit- Kiv-Bt900
Front: 4x6 Rockford Fosgate Punch P1462
Rear: 6x9 Rockford Fosgate Punch P1692
4-Channel amp- MB Quart ONX4.60 (only powering my rear speakers)
Mono-block amp- MB Quart ONX1.1000D
Subwoofer- 12 inch Alpine SWR-1242D wired @2 ohms
Wiring- Knu-Konceptz 4g wiring kit, monster RCA to 4-channel, scosche rca to mono-block amp


Goals-
big 3 upgrade
second 4g wire going back (so both amps have a 4g wire input)
Knu-Konceptz Bassik 2 Way Fuse Distribution Block to extend 4g wire reach
buy 4-channel rca cables and switch the monster rca to the mono-block amp
build a properly tuned box for the alpine
create a proper amp rack for the amp
"strap down" both the subwoofer box and amp rack to stay still while under excessive acceleration (both at straight stretches and corners)
carpet, coat or cover amp rack/subwoofer box
get alpine 4 inch speakers in the front, then wire in to amp them

bed liner box! carpet is a waste of time unless you buy prefab since it does jack crap to reinforce or protect the box from damage.

heavy duty L brackets are good for securing your box.

i was thinking of having the carpet come off the box over the amp rack to make it look flush
but im still leaning towards the coating the box like i said before
and i've got to figure out how i can use any sort of bracket, where im putting the subwoofer box is both above my gas tank and below my back window
there are some "brackets" underneath the carpet back there, but ill literally need a piece of sheet metal extending out on the bottom of the box on both sides, then have an L bracket connect to them

oh right you have that weird shaped place for your box lol. well if you wanted to be really difficult about it you could stick some bolts through the back of the box before you put the sub in. you'd need to get some wood filler and make a place for the bolt+washers to sit in and then use filler to cover it up. the only problem with this is when you want to remove the box you have to take the sub out lol.

really wouldn't have a big reason to take the box out, it is only going to block my rear view mirror (which is useless seeing as the back window is already tinted)
it would definitely solve the main problem there

if you do it that way make sure to use rubber washers under the metal washers inside the box to make sure air can't get through. use rubber washers between the box and the body to keep the box from vibrating your cars body too much.

i've going to have to do the same for the amps too

need to extend my wires a foot or two and im hoping they do have a cover for it too
