also would 20w per speaker be enough to drive those nicely? my amp i made puts out 18-22w @ 4 ohms depending on supply voltage in. since im using 12v im hitting about 19-20w output per channel (left right)
these type of speakers are just mid/highs they don't have lows thats why there is no real need for a midwoofer+tweeter+super tweeter+if 4 way..another tweeter.
thats about the same power ratings of an aftermarket car head unit so it will drive them fine.
also if you plan on mounting these in a box you'll need to leave a large gap for air. they are designed to be free air so if you enclose them they will not work properly.
