so yeah i gota mono block amp 500rms @ 2 300 @ 4 not 1 ohm stable. peak is 800w @ 2ohm forgot the 4ohm
polk pa-880

so first off if i get 2x dvc 2ohm subs i can wire them down to 2 ohms (series parallel)... will it be 500 rms to both subs or 250 @ each?! im sorta confused about that.

i gota plexi glass box ~1 cubic foot sealed wedge *i like sealed*

so ive been looking at some subs.. but dono if im supposed to be looking at 500rms subs or 250! :S
budget ~100 per sub?
i like tight punchy bass :D

First off, if the amp does 500w@2ohm then it doesn't matter how many subs are hooked up. If it's wired to 2ohm it will deliver 500w to whatever is there.

Just to clarify for you, 500 to both IS 250 to each.

Second, what size holes are in the box (twelves or tens)? Is the whole box 1 cubic foot? or 1'cu per sub?

My recommendation; just go here http://www.sonicelectronix.com/ and pick some out. You get what you pay for so anything you spend $100 on will be a good sub.
These would do just fine. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_33887_Rockford-Fosgate-P1S4-12-11P1S412.html

Kind of. Infinity and JBL make ones that are a 3" speaker mounted in a 4x6 plate with a tweeter on the side. So could you remove the tweeter from the plate and mount it somewhere else? Yes.

Get a pair of the lower end JL Audio subs. I've had several pair low and high end both sound great. Should be able to get them between 80-120$ per.

Like deranged said, you get what you pay for.
So, for under $100, your options are limited to "lower end" subs.

Rockfords - as deranged said (probably your best option)
$65 http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_33887_Rockford-Fosgate-P1S4-12-11P1S412.html

Kicker -
$80 - http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_8363_Kicker-CVR124-07CVR124.html
2 for $155 http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_9347_2-Pack-of-Kicker-CVR124-07CVR124.html

JL audio -
$90 - http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_39825_JL-Audio-12W0v3-4.html

I know everyone says that Kicker & JL are "entry level" and "junk subs" but, for less than $100 they are much better than a lot of other options you give us.
I have 2 Kicker CVR 12's in a huge ported box, running a JL500.1 to them, and they sound pretty good. They are by no means "amazing" "badass" etc, but I spent 140 on them both..
They are good for daily bumping and can take a little abuse. I've had mine for ~2-2.5 years and have hundreds, if not close to a thousand hours of play on them.

my main gripe is their higher end stuff. jl audio higher end lines are INSANELY overpriced for their performance. kicker is also overpcied...but to top it off their L series sounds like shit. both have some okay cheaper end stuff but i'd never pay retail price for any of their higher end stuff.

also for this i would of probably suggested http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_45529_Alpine-SWS-12D4.html
