install kit $300
4 gauge kit $89
Amp $250
subs+box $540

for a total of $1700 canadian

i'm starting at:
300$ for my headunit
55$ for my front speakers
62$ for my back
180$ in two 4g wiring kits/rca/1-0g under the hood
65$ for my 4-channel amp
60$ for my 12 inch sub
722$ american plus amps and boxes i don't have uses for
going to buy a 140$ amp and build a box for like 60$
paid for all of it from college books i made a profit on, only the amp and speakers came out of my pocket so far

$900 just in power wire... what has this world come to

lets say im thinking alot more about how much I spent on my neon then on the audio system

i try not to think about how much money ive spent. I love it and it brings me joy so I dont find it "wasteful"

Uggghhh.. Yes.
If I would of just saved up for a while instead of buying the bare minimum..

First system ~350 used from a buddy (HU, amp, subs, wiring, box)
subs blew, spent ~325 on new ones.
Got rid of box, had custom one made to fit car for 275.
Car engine seized up, got rid of box for new car... 115 on new box.
Amp was underpowering subs, 225 on new amp.
upgrade wiring ~200
new HU blah blah blah the list goes on... All within about 8 months time.
I could of just saved up and threw down $1200 and had something 3x better

I would cry, never remind me of this again.
