Needing a new system for my CRX. So, Obviously to beat loud it doesn't have to be a big system. Right now its 2x crappy 10 inch subs and like a 400 watt amp -.- sounds ok tho, just bought the car yesterday and it came with the stuff so;.


Getting a new head unit too. AND I wouldn't mind getting some other speakers for the inside as well, but the ones inside sounds very good as is.

I would love to be under 500 total but I can spend a little more -.-

got like 750 total set aside for car stuff this month.

I snagged the amp and 2 subs.

Subs sound great, amp is a little powerful. May list it on craigslist to find something a little smaller.

quantum audio is a flea market brand. that stuff isn't worth the material used to make it.

on the kenwood stuff...

those subs brand new only cost $82 COMBINED.
the box $60 at most
the amp is old as hell as well. its a 2nd generation while the newest is 5th generation...and the new one is only $140 brand new.

total $282 for all of that stuff brand new. you got screwed.

I didn't buy the kenwood junk

I got the DB and they sound really good so far.

The sub will be posted on craigslist and ill be trading it off soon.
Just gotta find a good one to push the subs I got.

you were screwed ever harder on that quantum audio stuff. you can buy that stuff for $200 at the flea market. its worse than boss/dual/pyramid/power acoustik/other walmart junk brands.

for that money you could of bought a real setup instead of overrated, poor build quality, mexican flea market stuff.

I paid 400 for the subs and amp with the box as well.

I honestly have heard nothing bad about DB stuff, not to mention it sounds good in my car.
I drive a CRX, it doesn't really matter what is in there -__-
Amp is meh but like I said, I can list it on craigslist again and find something else to put in.





Like I said, feel free to post stuff better and I can scoop it up. I can have this stuff sold in a day or two if need be.

the amp is basically a fire hazard on its best day.

the subs might be okay but that amp needs to go before it ruins itself and the subs in a spectacular way. db drive hasn't really made much of a reputation for itself in the years they've been around but i haven't heard anything particularly bad about them although no one really talks about them to begin with.

sell the amp for what you can and grab either of these:

i'd sell you my 2x12'' kicker sub with a 800kenwood amp

the subs are squarre shaped not round ^^
