Pair of 6.5s in the door and 4x6s on the dash.
I was thinking Infinity Kappas or Rockford Power series?
Something that retails for around $150 - $200 / pair

If Components, we could do $200 - $300 for one pair of 6.5s

Probably just going to go with the Kenwood 4-channel (8405).
I've heard that Infinity has some of the best mids, but Rockfords are more readily available to us so I was going to try to get him into some T1s but I think I sold him on the Infinitys already haha.

I may consider getting him 6.5 comps and then mounting the tweets in his A-pillar so he gets more clear highs.
Problem is in his truck the only way to do it would be having them facing towards to windshield, I think it'll be OK though.

This is all for a customer / friend by the way.

/Edit:
These look nice with the swivel dome tweeters.

Or a pair of these, Rockford has never let me down when it comes to amp'ing mids.

either one one of those sets would be a good choice.

might consider sundown components as well. http://store.soundsolutionsaudio.com/products/sundown-audio-sa-6-5cs-6-5-component-set.html

I love sundown. Have had an saz1500D since was first released with the warranty to .5 ohms. =D

You should also look at Cadence components.
