if you want a daily use setup then $5k is way overkill.

It's for daily use just said 5000 because that's the most ill pay for sound.

I want it to be a very crisp clean sounding system. But I'd also like it to hit hard as fuck.

how far you wanting to go on this? stock mounting areas or custom fiberglass work?

if you just want to throw in a new head unit/new speakers/subs/amps like a normal thing you probably wont be spending more than $2k unless you want a very nice head unit.

but if you want a custom fiberglass sub box/amp mount in your trunk its going to cost more.

you have a very nice budget which allows for it but i dont know if you wanna get that serious about it or not.

Well I was thinking about keeping the stock deck. It said its like 350? Watts?


But I want amazing speakers, 2x 12" subs. I want to be able to listen to any genre of music perfectly be it heavy bass or classical.

And I'm just throwing the 5000$ out there because I want a quality system. I'd rather pay the money to get something I'll love listening to rather than just buying 600$ worth of shit to make it loud and kick...

And I won't be doing any of the work myself. I'm going to get it professionally installed. And about the box I'm not sure if Im going to get the custom fiberglass work for it yet. That will probably come farther down the line after I finish everything else with the car

sorry if im being annoying but you are being way to broad about what you are wanting out of it.

even $2.5k gives you tons and tons of options.

your mids/highs are fairly easy to pick out since you can't really do too much in that area.

however when it comes to subs i really don't want to link you something thats going to be too loud for you. in your budget we can easily get 150 decibel sub setup but i really dont think you want to get that loud in a daily use setup.

you're also going to need to get a high output alternator first and foremost because even 1000rms watts will be too much for your stock alternator most likely.

as for the mounting situation...if you really want the best out of your mids/highs you are going to need to get some custom work done for mounting them. stock mounting holes aren't going to be an option for higher end stuff since they wont be deep enough to hold the speakers.

i'd love to help you but its hard for me to really get an idea of what you want out of it if you haven't ever had a high end setup before.
