Alright... Just got an 18" subwoofer

Need to build a box with good box designs

Materials:
1 3/4" MDF wooden box

Dimensions

Width 37"
Height 18"
Depth 20"

Total = 7.7 cubic feet

Box requires 6 cubic feet but would be happy to build the specs to 7 cubic feet instead because of sub-dispacement

Not sure what to tune the box too but i've heard 32 hertz is best wich i'm fine with that =/

Obviously i'm going ported...

Let me know if anyone can get me some really good box designs to build a box out of 1 3/4" MDF and build a good ported box

Please I want to go buy materials A.S.A.P and get started on this i might post pics or something of finished box design

Just need help with specs and I gave all information of dimensions of what I have to work with =/ Box suggests 6 cubic feet for a DC XL 18" Subwoofer

I'd like to do somewhere around 7 cubic feet at 32 hertz ported or looking for suggestions

Thanks ;)

http://www.ram-designs.com/

I really doubt that 1 3/4" MDF is necessary. I think 1" or 3/4" would do the job.
That shit would weigh like 80,000 lbs hahah

also going to leave you with this in case i don't get back to you fast enough. it should give you what you want you just have to account for the double front layer in the height category.

port length 2=0

change port width until it read the frequency you want it tuned to at the bottom. something like 3.5 inches should be about right.
