Alright, I need to get some new door&rear speakers... mine have partly blown, which is causing my HU to go into protect mode quite frequently... Having an hour drive each way to work, this is no good.

2001 Chevy Impala
2 12" Kicker CVR's, with a 32 hz ported box (custom made at Mr. Tunes. I know I know... -.-)
600.1 JL Audio Amp.
Stock door & rear speakers

This is by NO means an "awesome" system... Just bumps pretty decent for my daily driver. So don't judge me :P

So, that being said.

I need 2 pair (door and rear) of speakers.

I need a pair of 6-3/4" for the doors.
I need a pair of 6x9s for the rear.

I was honestly about to just look on CL for a cheap pair, just to get me thru the winter.

The least amount possible lol.
I wont be getting them for a few weeks, and I don't need anything too amazing...
I've seen a couple sets on CL (front and rear) for ~50-60 bucks... (cheap is kinda what I was looking for)
Yeaaa, I know they won't be too great.

But... If I can get a nice pair for just a little more, I'd be willing to spend it.
I'd like to cap at around $150, for both pair.. But I'd like to stay under 100. I know options are limited then :/

Very nice!
Stayed right at $100.

Once again, thanks so much.

Also, I've always like RF. Good choice :)

NOOBIE QUESTION!!!!

Quote
Speaker Size
6-3/4" (Oversized 6-1/2")

Will 'oversized' 6 1/2 fit 6 3/4?

I was going to buy these today, because they are 10 bucks less than last week now for Cyber Monday..
But when I tried the "WILL THIS FIT YOUR VEHICLE" it says that they wont... :/

Sonic Electronic says they are 6 1/2, but other sites say that my car is a 6 3/4.

6 1/2 and 6 3/4 use the same size cutout holes the only difference is you may need to make new screw holes.

metraonline shows 6 1/2 to but honestly it doesn't matter even if it turn out to be 6 3/4

Okay, awesome.
I didn't think that 1/4" would make a difference, but I just wanted to make sure it wouldn't be too much a difference to not fit. :)

But..... The wife went and bought something this morning for Cyber Monday (BITCH!!! BAhahahah) instead, so I'll have to wait until Friday.

Thanks again bud.
