i got a 12 Civic LX, looking to get 1 sub and amp around 200 bucks.

any one got any good ideas?

1: What is the Year, Make, and Model of the vehicle? 2012 Honda civic LX
2: What is your budget? 200-300
3: What exactly do you want your outcome to be? nice hitting bass
4: And specific sub sizes that you prefer more than others? 1, 12
5: How much trunk space do you want to use up? whole trunk
6: What type of features are you looking for in a CD Player (aka Head Unit)? (Ex: USB, AUX, BlueTooth, etc) do i need one? the stock has all of that
7: What type of music do you listen to? all types of music
8: Is your stock stereo system amplified? (You may or may not know this) not sure
9: Do you have Steering Wheel Controls? (Volume/Seek on the steering wheel) yes

you planning on installing it yourself?

you can keep your head unit and use a line out converter for the sub. however in the future you'll probably want to upgrade your highs/mids and then you'll need to get a new head unit.

once i know if you are in the US or not ill link stuff because if you are in canada the import prices can be a pain and if you are outside of the us and canada i doubt ill be able to help with anything more than recommendations to look for.

yea im in california, I plan on having my buddy help me install it hes knows how to.

their amps range from junk to good. nowhere near what i would call excellent but they have some good budget amps.

mb quart is their sister brand.

as for their speakers...just don't.
