not wanting to spend an absurd amount, but willing to pay a decent amount

kinda clueless about subs and amps but I figured maybe you guys could help or at least point me in the right direction, ty

what do tyou consider a absurd amount...lol
what type of music?
tell us your headunit if aftermarket or stock..
etcetc

I can use up my whole trunk.
Budget like 600 bucks.
Good sounding and loud/decent bass.
No specific size.
I'd get a USB headunit most likely
I listen to everything, mainly rap (hence bass)
No steering wheel controls

very low budget to be getting full system+ head unit if you want something to sound good.

generally it breaks down like this for starter stuff.

4 speakers$150-200
head unit $120
subwoofer $100 per sub
mono amp $100-150
4 channel amp $100-150(optional if you absolutely cannot afford to spend this extra cost right now)
amplifier wiring $60-70
subwoofer box $50-70
head unit wiring $70-130 depending on if you have onstar or not

something like this price most likely.
