Can not figure out how to get the crank off my door so i can take the panel off and install the speakers

2009 kia spectra

i do not see any clip or anything, have tried all the trick i see online and nothing works.

any thoughts?

There's a clip. Trust me. I usually just pull like a mother fucker until it comes off and usually I can find the clip and re-use it lol

it's definitely there but all that stick out usually is a 1/4 inch area with a hole in it. its a total pain in the ass to do lol.

Push the door panel in by the the crank as far as you can and use a hook tool to pry off the little ring that we're talking about.
