drunk and stupid. but it happened a few weeks ago and its time to start picking out new speakers an amp, and possibly a sub.

i come to you car audio, for resources on what to buy and why.


1: What is the Year, Make, and Model of the vehicle.
2008 subaru legacy

2: What is your budget?
around 500, I could be convinced to go higher

3: What exactly do you want your outcome to be? (Good sounding music, or loud bass?)
i dont want a ghetto thumper, I love dubstep but I dont want any rattle

4: And specific sub sizes that you prefer more than others?
no

5: How much trunk space do you want to use up?
I'm thinking about half or less if possible. that is, IF i end up with a sub

6: What type of features are you looking for in a CD Player (aka Head Unit)? (Ex: USB, AUX, BlueTooth, etc)
the car already has usb and aux, the head unit is fine and its tied into the ac controls, I dont believe i can change it.

7: What type of music do you listen to?
mostly dubstep

8: Is your stock stereo system amplified? (You may or may not know this)
I dont believe so, hence I blew it out

9: Do you have Steering Wheel Controls? (Volume/Seek on the steering wheel)

just got around to hooking the rear ones up today, but sounds miles better than my stocks, cant wait to hear it with the fronts as well.
