I'm buying another amp but its only 500 watts so that plus my shit ass jensen amp would it be okay on my truck battery ? cause there's amps that are 1200 watt runs off of 1 battery im buying a new battery regardless.

500 rockford mono and 720 jensen amp. which isnt even 750 true power

stuff isn't supposed to run off your battery. once the truck is started everything is supposed to get its power from the alternator. find our your trucks alternator size and use rms watts/14.4=amperage. you'll want your alternator to have 30-40 amps on top of that number for everything to work as it should.

nope. distribution blocks are never necessary. their useful for splitting a large gauge wire into multiple smaller gauge wires but thats more for wiring ease than necessity.
