When there's too much power going too a speaker ? Cause my amp i had running 2 JL 12's got disconnected n then only one worked n made a crackle noise on some parts of the bass lines. but theyre both back hooked up and doesnt crackle anymore lol ? Lmk guys.

sounds like the wires weren't connected well to the terminals

Sounds like a small tear to me.
you can buy a repair kit if its small enough.

more than likely if you did it yourself it was the ones on the inside of the box too heh
