Sure. Parallel divides the resistance, series multiplies the resistance.
For example, three speakers that are each 4 ohm in parallel (red to red, black to black) is 4 ohm / 3 speakers = 1.3 ohm load.
Two speakers that are each 4 ohm in series (red to black to red to black) is 4 ohm x 2 speakers = 8 ohm load.
ok but what does that do to the numbers on the amp? and the speakers??
