I know nothing about car audio

I have the whole bose series 10 surround sound set up in my room and sounds great, apparently Bose car audio isn't so great (Google)

I'll probably be paying someone to put it all in if its to hard for someone that knows nothing about cars to put in

Looking for all new speakers and x2 10" subs in the back :)

Could someone link me to some good set ups? I tried finding some but idk anything aobut all this 2 way sht or how many watts etc.

Idk how much this stuff costs, but I have some money put away for a sound system!

If it matters, I'm putting it in my 2007 Chevrolet Aveo LS B)

Iso Links + Halp!

:::Edit:::

1: What is the Year, Make, and Model of the vehicle :: 2007 Chevrolet Aveo Ls
2: What is your budget :: $1000.00-2000.00 (If possible) (Lower priced is a bonus)
3: What exactly do you want your outcome to be? ::Hate when the highs screech or distort, also hate when the base is so loud you don't know what song is playing
4: And specific sub sizes that you prefer more than others: x2 10"
5: How much trunk space do you want to use up ::Whole trunk if needed
6: What type of features are you looking for in a CD Player (aka Head Unit)? :: Mainly USB and AUX, is Bluetooth isn't to expensive then sure why not
7: What type of music do you listen to :: Hardstyle // Hardcore // Trance // The occasional Rap to show off
8: Is your stock stereo system amplified? ::noidearr
9: Do you have Steering Wheel Controls? ::nope.

Allsoooo, does it matter if the subs are facing you or the back ? In my last car the subs were facing me , I put down the seat and it sounded sharp B) Trollface,

can you find out your cars alternator amperage output? i need to know this so i know your power limitations if you don't want to upgrade it(around $400 for upgrade probably)

any reason you need more than 1 sub? with your budget you'd probably be better off with a single good sub over two average subs.

since your car allows for a double din head unit are you wanting one or just a single din? double dins differences are pretty much touch screen, looks cooler, sat nav if you want it.

about the "bass so loud you don't know what songs playing" thats pretty confusing for me. are you saying you don't want a lot of bass at all or you don't want a lot of bass even if you had highs/mids to keep up with it?

How do I find out the Amperage? does it say ti somewhere? Trollface.

And Idk, 2 subs looks cooler xD :) Doesn't matter really though, just thought 1 on each side is impressive :)

and for the bass so loud thing, my friend has his sub so loud all you hear is the bass and u only hear the song when the bass stops. but the more bass the better as long as it sounds good of course!

How much is a double din unit? Like what's the price difference, . Can I decide after I price everything out ? BTW: I live in Canada. If that changes anything. Ontario.

@@@@@@@

Google and some forums are telling me that stock Aveo alternator is 85 amps.

the shipping cost increases since your in canada but its still cheaper than buying locally in canada since the price mark up is huge lol.

your friend is an example of someone who had no idea what they were doing. he just added subs with no regard for anything else and ruined it.

for a basic touch screen double din with the stuff you are looking for it'll be around $300. for about the same performance without the touchscreen monitor its around $150. for your budget you can probably grab a $300 double din if you want it.

the budget breakdown is probably going to be like:
head unit $150-300
subwoofer $125-200 for one.
sub amplifier $200
interior speaker amplifier $120
subwoofer box $70ish for a premade
subwoofer wiring kit $27
4 channel wiring kit $22
stereo wiring $5+free stuff with head unit
10 foot of 1/0 gauge wiring $20
interior speakers $160-200. not real sure on this yet since 4 inch speakers in your front doors are pretty lame.

then we have a few optional pieces
new battery $170
new battery terminals $20-ish

then the import taxes on top of all of that.

Okay what about 4 inch speakers? I read online you can fit 6.5" speakers but cant roll down your window all the way haha.
and someone just gave me a brand new Type-S 10" sub, is it anygood? and they told me to get a 5 channel amp and hook up all my speakers to it. and to get a cap on something for the power issue? Enlighten me :-)

well the problem is if you use 4 inch speakers you won't get very powerful ones. just not enough of a market for them for companies to put good ones out.

we can go with 4 inch ones for simplicity sake because the only thing you can do besides that is make your own mounting spot.

5 channel amps are a waste of time. you pick out speakers then you pick out the amp not the other way around. you cant do this with 5 channel amps because your door speakers and subwoofer will both have to work on whichever one you choose.'

capacitors don't fix power issues unless your battery is the problem. your alternator produces the electricity your car uses so without it being able to handle the electrical load you'll begin draining your battery and thats a bad thing.

sub thing i pmed about since i checked pms first lol.
