Crutchfield is telling me there's only 2 options for headunits that fit so I can't really go that route I guess?

Code

Radio opening

Non-standard dash opening (special integration package required)
Usable space behind your dash for a new stereo:6.275"

Radio types that will fit in your dash:

   4"-tall ("Double-DIN" style)
   2"-tall ("DIN" style)

How can I create an auxiliary connection for this stock unit?

They only have this one listed and it's out of stock

what kind of budget do you have for a new head unit?

installation parts are going to run about $50+the cost of the head unit.

~100$ head unit is all
but like I said can I get a wider variety? the site is saying only 2 fit.
one thats $60 that I'm not interested in and one that is like $300

you are definitely not limited to those. crutchfield is goofy sometimes lol.

are you saying $100 including installation parts or $100+installation parts?

Around $100 head unit + harness and cage cost
I would install myself as a project

Best buy was saying like $115 for the harness so I was like uhhhhh better get some info somewhere else.
and they had the cage thing for like $20

the only real limits head units are their din(height) and the dash clearance behind them. so if you can check how much room you have in your dash you can know the only non-standard measurement that will limit you.

ya best buy overprices that stuff since the demand is low at a brick and mortar store they have to price it accordingly.

sonicelectronix.com is a good site to look at.
