Ok so my goal for my 2000 dodge neon is 200 hp. I wanna go all motor mostly. I was wondering how much will a 2.4 dohc engine swap would cost and would i also have to swap the tranny that i have? Cause i have a 2.0 sohc with an auto trans. Idk if id have to get a stronger rebuild trans if i swap engines.

imo get a new car ... gonna be a waste of time and money

you will need new tranny new comp new harness and everything motor mounts arent the same but if u wanna do it go for it

just buy a srt-4 model because its not worth the time or effort to make your own because its a junk car either way.
