so i just spent 5 k on a custom sound system for my s6. my girl has an 04 A4 and she wanting one for her birthday. I wanna get her the works. flip out headunit, components ampd, subs, custom box etc.. iso pro ideas

flip outs are junk. an a4 can fit a full screen double din so why not do that?
do you have a place locally to build custom subwoofer boxes?
how much bass are you wanting? first things that come to mind are going to be 144+decibel setups.

the electrical system upgrade is going to be the biggest hassle in all this. being an audi i expect parts to be hard to find lol.

what sort of electrical upgrades would it need.. the battery should be able to handle it its an optima red top

batteries only hold power they don't make power. you're probably going to want to replace that battery with a yellow top at least. red tops aren't good with constant power drainage.

i think that year model has a 120amp alternator correct?

if you don't want to have to replace that we need to stay under 1200rms watts total to not have voltage drops all the time.
